Maxim Piva

Maxim joined Journey Law in January 2022 as an LPP Candidate.  Prior to joining Journey Law, Maxim graduated from Trent University with both a B.A. (Hons.) and an M.A., obtaining his Juris Doctor from the University of Ottawa, Faculty of Law in 2020.  After being called to the bar in June 2022, Maxim now primarily works with local businesses to facilitate their corporate or commercial needs, and assisting in the purchase, sale, and refinancing of real estate. Recognizing that no two clients are the same, Maxim prides himself on providing practical advice, tailored to client needs. Maxim does not work alone though. As part of the Journey Law, Maxim knows the value of teamwork, enlisting other professionals to assist when the needs of the client call for a coordinated approach.  When Maxim isn’t busy working on behalf of his clients, he’s either camping, snowboarding, or curled up on the couch with his partner and their dog.
