Michele Allinotte from Journey Law

Founder and Lawyer

Michele R.J. Allinotte

Michele Allinotte is a member of the Law Society of Upper Canada and licensed to practice law in the Province of Ontario. She is proud of her Cornwall roots and envisioned creating a Cornwall law firm where she could provide quality client service in a warm, welcoming environment. The result is Journey Law Professional Corporation.

Michele graduated with an undergraduate degree from Queen’s University in 1998 and from the University of Ottawa with a Bachelor of Laws in 2001. She was called to the Bar of Ontario in 2002. She opened Journey Law Professional Corporation in October 2009 with the mission of helping clients navigate life’s important milestones while safeguarding their businesses, their assets, and their loved ones.

Michele listens to the needs of each client and does not believe in a “one size fits all” approach to any legal issue. With more complex matters, Michele prefers a team approach, working with other professionals and advisors to best meet the needs of the client.

Running a practice in her home town has allowed Michele to reasonably blend her work life and home life. As a single parent of two, Michele strives to meet the needs of her clients and her family by being flexible with her schedule. She often offers extended hours on Wednesday evenings, and occasionally on the weekends, to help clients who have a hard time meeting during regular office hours.

In her down time, Michele is a fan of experiences over things and has traveled extensively. She is currently focusing on finding new adventures in Cornwall and area and supporting local businesses by exploring various corners of Stormont, Dundas and Glengarry.
