Michele Allinotte

Founder/Lawyer

Bio

Michele founded what is now Journey Law in 2009. Her practice is focused on assisting people who have lost a loved one with estate matters and working with families and businesses to plan for their future with wills, powers of attorney, trusts. Michele became a lawyer 2002 and worked with firms in Ottawa, North Bay and Cornwall before founding the firm. Journey Law is the realization of Michele’s vision of providing the best client service possible in a warm, welcoming environment. Michele has been busy during her almost 20 years as a lawyer, but you can Google her and read about those things if you want. What likely matters most to you is that Michele is friendly and approachable. She listens individually to the needs of each client and does not believe in a “one size fits all” approach to any legal issue. With more complex matters, Michele prefers a team approach, working with other professionals and advisors to best meet the needs of the client. Because she is always looking to enhance her knowledge to assist her clients, Michele has obtained her TEP designation from the Society of Trusts and Estates Practitioners and is a member of the Estate Planning Council of Canada. When she is not working on Journey Law, Michele runs a second business as a travel agent. She enjoys thrift shopping, travelling, and spending time with her family and her Golden Retriever, Finn.
